Fue <strong>p<\/strong><\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"><strong>astor<\/strong> en la Iglesia Reformada Holandesa (NGK) desde finales de los 1960 hasta su <\/span>jubilaci\u00f3n en 1986. <strong>Ha escrito varios comentarios<\/strong> en la serie <em>Opening the Scriptures<\/em>, tanto al Nuevo como al Antiguo Testamento. Actualmente vive en Barneveld con su mujer, tiene cuatro hijos y catorce nietos.
