Despu\u00e9s de estudiar en la universidad fue <strong>misionero en China<\/strong>, y despu\u00e9s de ese ministerio comenz\u00f3 un <strong>pastorado<\/strong> en una iglesia en Pennslyvania. Adem\u00e1s de <strong>ingl\u00e9s<\/strong>, Harrison sab\u00eda <strong>griego, hebreo, arameo, alem\u00e1n, lat\u00edn, chino y franc\u00e9s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por lo que es m\u00e1s conocido en los c\u00edrculos evang\u00e9licos es por su <strong>extensa obra escrita<\/strong>, y por sus <strong>largos periodos de ense\u00f1anza<\/strong>. Mientras estuvo en China, ense\u00f1\u00f3 en el Instituto B\u00edblico de Hunan, una filial del Instituto B\u00edblico de Los \u00c1ngeles. En 1947, particip\u00f3 en la fundaci\u00f3n del Seminario Teol\u00f3gico Fuller, donde sigui\u00f3 ense\u00f1ando hasta que se jubil\u00f3 a finales de los a\u00f1os 1970. Tambi\u00e9n dio clase en el Seminario Teol\u00f3gico de Dallas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Su obra escrita incluye <strong>material de ense\u00f1anza para escuela dominical<\/strong>, que escribi\u00f3 durante 25 a\u00f1os. Tambi\u00e9n escribi\u00f3 un<strong> valioso libro<\/strong>, <em>A Short Life of Christ <\/em>[Un libro corto <strong>sobre la vida de Jes\u00fas<\/strong>], adem\u00e1s de <strong>comentarios<\/strong> de Hechos, de Juan y de Romanos, y una <strong>introducci\u00f3n al Nuevo Testamento<\/strong>.
